Crowning Glory

So I bought this product last week - got a great deal from Target. Have used it and am happy with the results but need to find the right hair product to go with it - hairspray leaves the hair a little crunchy! I now have 7 electrical products to style my hair - surely that is too many, I am not sure how that happened but I do use them all from time to time. No wonder girls never have enough cupboard space!

Recession Shopping

Today I walked into the city for a taste of Melbourne and to check out the mad stocktake sales. To my delight and bewilderment all I bought was a columbo ice-cream. Tried on a few outfits but was strong enough to just say no. It may also have something to do with an expensive item I have just placed in my drive way.

Last nite I went out to a past work place event - a lovely couple that I had worked with are moving overseas. Saw a lot of people I had not seen for a while and I let one lady believe I was someone else for a while, she got it wrong and I let her go with it until she asked me how my kids were - I obviously made an impression on her during my two years in that workplace. Anyway, even though it was a very tame party in nunawading with mostly older couples I still wanted to bust out my n w red shoes and frill top. So glad I did.

This is my new car, but mine is black. I have never been too attached to my cars but I am looking forward to picking this one up tomorrow, it's the most grown up car I have owned - please note I never name my cars, that would be very wrong - it is a car.

What a great weekend - I have 2 very special friends in my life who always make a difference in my life. We were in a bar and I was busy flirting when I looked over to my friends who were happily chatting away as if they were on a first date - I took a moment and thought they are a very special couple - so much in love and awe of each other. Just how it should be. My married besties rock it!

Bought at Virgin Megastore in Hollywood. The US Virgin Megastore chain is closing down due to the recession and all goods were minimun 40% off. I have always wanted this top so snapped it up at a bargin price. I know that I am so white and not one bit hip hop but I have always admired this band and they have often got me groovin on the dance floor. That's the way it is!
