My beautiful fairy god-daughter got the lead role in her school play "Wizard of OZ" - I am not suprised, she has spent some time around me. I see they have already made a doll that looks just like her, we may have to get out the bedazzler to make some merchandise to sell at the school hall on the night - I am on to it. xo

I would buy this for my Besties DJ husband if I had a spare $10,000 and he had a studio to put it in. The latest in DJ booths by Reynold Rodriguez from the US are spinning us right round. Packed with as much form as they are function, the DJ consoles are crafted out of wood and disguise any visible wiring.

A purchase I am planning to make in NYC is a pair of Ray Ban wayfarers - I will not go for the real tilted ones as Victory is wearing, will be channelling more the Michelle Williams look.

Went and saw The September Issue last night - really liked it. Show cased New York and Paris beautifully. Anna wintour says a alot by not saying a lot at times - great viewing, my bestie is going to love it. xox

I am going to buy the September Issue of vogue while in New York - will be sure to hand it around.

Loving myself Sic

So these are my new sportsgirl jeans - can I say they are so comfortable and they are my new favourite thing. I want my bestie to get some as they are so her and I would be happy to contribute to an early birthday pressie if she desired.

I wore them last night and asked my gentleman caller what he thought of my new purchase - he told me her preferred girls in tight jeans - go figure, but then he also drives a ute and calls girls chicky babe.

Just realised that it is Fashion Week when I am in NYC. I will be sure to say hi to Posh, Becks, Madonna and the Hiltons. Hopefully there will be some star spotting.

PS. I am giving a lot of thought to what my bestie said about reinventing oneself - NYC might be a thinking time for such ideas.

Drew Barrymore was on Ellen today, she is plugging her new TV movie where she plays "Little" Edie Bouvier Beale of Grey Gardens". I hope we get to see it here. Drew seems to carry off any look, she looked so pretty today on the show. Blonde, red head or Brunette, she always works it.

My bestie is coming to stay with me tonight - I love spending time with her, who knows what we will get up to - if her DJ husband is reading this - we will probably have a path time, just sit and watch TV I suppose, nothing too exciting.

Busted out the secretary bow shirt and vest look today - always a winner, as least I look like I Know what I am doing!

Curiously cosmic

This dress is from Top Shop - it is called a Cosmic dress, I like the frill on the shoulder but I am a little worried that it does look like an outfit I would wear if I was in a spaceship. Need to see it in person, maybe a little too harsh, not the usual soft frill look.

Red runner

So earlier this week I saw a little blonde fashionista on chapel street in black tights, shortish black skirt, white T and fitted black cardi on with these fantastic sneakers - she looked so cute and so da bomb at the same time (almost a little 'beats international') . I am on the look out for these - not sure if I could pull it off but always happy to look.
