I went to the Melbourne zoo with my beautiful BFF juniors and we saw Mali, the first Aussie born elephant.

Finders Keepers

Now I have not been shopping lately for clothes, I promise you. I have not even been to Southland for 2 months..but...last weekend I was showing my sister a new cute store and she spied this local melbourne designer dress on the 50% off already reduced rack. There were a few stitches missing around the neckline which took me a minute to fix and now... I have a cute as pie stripey dress. Working it today amongst the other hospital gowns.

Working it

I am very corporate today - I am interviewing some people for a position and I want to show them how professional we are as a team and what standard I expect of them....who am I joking, I am probably the only person in the whole organisation who is wearing a petticoat today.

Someone actually told me that I look like a real secretary today - I quickly told them I am a real one... nice to know I have fullfilled my career dreams.

The love nest

I have been in the mood for change of late and that has come to fruition in my home. I have been Ikea mad lately and bought a few items to bring my home into 2010 - my next step is the couch above which folds into a lovely double bed - I lied on it in the store and I would be very happy to sleep on it, the color I am ordering is dark grey.

What is that saying --" if you create a love nest they will come". Well come on down, the love nest is just about ready.
