I remembered that I have these pretty pink sandles in my cupboard from bali in March - my BF found them but unfortunately they were too small for her so I got the goods. Already had a few comments today - lets hope the plastic keeps intact for the day.

I saw a copy of them in Top Shop for $150.00 but they were just not as great. Also noticed copies in 2 other shoe stores on Chapel Street but not the right color. I still cant pay $579.00 for them but I feel I am getting closer.

You know....

You know I want them and I mean really want them but for $579.00, I can't have them. Why is this always the way. Been looking for the perfect Tan boot and I find them in the city yesterday and then the price tag came up..... maybe I will win tatts. xx

Merry Christmas to me

These are my favorite foundation coverage or 'veil' as they are known. Gurlein meterorites. They last me 3 years and I have found them at a bargin price of $56.00 on strawberry net - over $100.00 in myers. A treat for me that I use every day.

Working it

30 degrees here today so my pretty new top had to come out....and Oh how comfy. Working them over some 3/4 black pants (not leggins as that would be wrong for work) and appropriate cork and black sandels. Thank you Studio Girl, I have two christmas functions this weekend with different groups of friends so if this weather keeps up this little trock (top and frock in one) will be getting a workout. xx

Weekend getaway

My gentleman friend is truly a gentleman, I had a fantastic weekend away, we are already planning another one.

Cleansing

I had a day off this week and used it wisely to clean out my cupboards. I had way too much squashed into a little space so I was ruthless and culled the above from my wardrobe.

Some were packed as market sales and some where photographed and currenlty sit on ebay.

Now I have a reasonably neat and no so squashed cupboard (well cupboards). There is space between the hangers, I promise you!

Somehow I thought this combination was OK...... oh, yes, it was soooooooo OK. salty caramel.

TV Star

Last night I went to a taping of a new show by the Working Dog Group who are the creators of such movies like The Castle, The dish and shows like The Panel and Thank God you are here. Nurse karen and I went to a studio in South Melbourne for drinks and nibbles followed by the first taping of the show. It was fun, the show was OK and should be on channel 7 early 2012. Karen and I were asked to go with 'Michelle's group which later we realised meant we were front and centre in the audience. I saw my self on TV but that was in pre-recoding mode so not sure about actuallty being on the show.. you never know. We got a goodie bag at the end, everyone loves a goodie bag.

White Christmas

I am part of the team organising the work christmas party and a 'white' theme has been selected for this year. I went out and sourced three beautiful white christmas trees and we have been promoting the event with beautiful white christmassy images and tasteful decorations etc as you will see below...

I was very lucky to be invited to the Westin Hotel on Cup day for brunch.. thank you sis!

I had no idea it was going to be such a fancy event - the westin is my new favourite place in the city. Of course it was decked out for the cup and my hand was never free of Moet.

It is safe to say I went a little star struck and crazy when I was there, it was like a magical place where all the women looked amazing, everything was so shiny and colorful... it was a true delight to be there, in fact too much of a delight! I was beside myself with excitment as I even saw a neighbours star.

PS; The Westin's lobby has fabulous bathrooms, note for next trip to the city.

OK, so I saw this on-line and fell in love

So I went and tried it on

and loved it sick. $149.00 from portmans, I want it, dont need it but want it. It goes against all I have been striving for of late but I love it. Should I??????

I did buy this tho, not like me at all bit I tried it on and fell in love, perfect for the upcoming summer and for $18.00 I was hooked.
